Broncos Release Henry

Too bad for Travis Henry but great news for Selvin Young as he should be seen as the man in Denver after joining the team as an undrafted free agent last year and having a solid rookie season. I have to admit I don't follow the Broncos all too closely, is there another running back in the pipeline or recently signed that I'm not thinking about?

On another note, I and a few others were a little upset with the Titans when they let go of Travis Henry in favor of LenDale White. He had a great season during VY's rookie campaign while Thunder was only so-so at best. I thought it was a bone headed move but maybe we should give them credit for seeing attitude problems even back then.

They just had issues with his personal choice to come to all team practices with a bong . But yeah I was surprised, but now I’ll breathe a sigh of relief for no more personal problems.

Broncos also signed Pittman from Tampa Bay...

I thought I heard that, is that right? I imagine he might get the first crack at top in the depth chart, but knowing Shanahan Selvin will definitely get his chance to be the top back.

Shanny is gushing over SY

He apparently is expecting big things out of him this year as he has become a workout warrior this offseason. He is up to almost 220 pounds and more than anything the thing that most distinguishes him is his desire. The man is HUNGRY and is determined to be a star. How can you not love a kid who has that much HEART? As a life long UT and DB fan I couldnt be more excited for this him, I really do think he will break out this year. Does anyone else remember SY after the ‘05 Rose Bowl? He was just so happy and had tears streaming down his face, it made me break down (of couse I was shit-canned at the time). One of my favorite memories from that night! Go SY!!!
