Good news is...

... This goes on last offseason’s Fulmer Cup, if I’m not mistaken, so I think we’re still scoreless over there. Wee!

Agreed

{knocks on whatever Ikea refers to as wood}

So you're saying that now I have to think of some witty Sig that will be applicable across all the SBN sites? Go TexanHornStros!

hey,you never saw me defend Babaloa

no Aggies were saying, “Let’s wait for the justice system to take its course before we criticize”, etc.

What Babaloa did was stupid, but you never saw the rush to defend him that you saw with you ‘sips with Jones et al.

You are delusional, BG

I’m not going to waste time finding proof, but I read plenty of aggy posts just after his arrest about what a great B/CS family Yemi comes from, what great parents he has, how his dad is an academic, endless crap about how a kid from that environment couldn’t possibly have done that.

I guess the aTm athletic program just does that to good kids like Babalola.

from what I've heard

Yemi does come from a good family. I believe both of his parents are educators, possibly college professors, but I don’t know that for a fact.
I haven’t heard anyone say he couldn’t possibly have done that, I’ve heard plenty of people lament that he came from a good home, and therefore has no excuse for what he did.
For my own part, I was mainly peeved that the police took the word of a drug dealer seriously, and that Yemi wasn’t smart enough to keep his mouth shut when questioned by the cops (the “We only wanted some weed” remark).

I guess the aTm athletic program just does that to good kids like Babalola.
It’s the demon marijuana; just ask your local D.A.R.E. counselor, they’ll tell you all about it ;-)

How the hell,

did you manage to disdain the respect we give to the constitutional process on Independence day?

July 3

I didn’t post on July 4th.

A small matter, but worth noting.

And I have my answer,

the West Coast has warped your mind.

Those of us with a CDT timestamp have you weighing in at 1:52AM July, 4th 2008.
