Looking Forward....

I thought I would compile a list of things to look forward to seeing this year, that were missing last year...

Defensively

Disguised blitzes. I hope to see Horns flying around prior to the snap creating mismatches and confusion.

Turnovers... Make it rain. We went through a dry spell mid season last year. Make it like the holiday bowl. Ruuuuuuuuuddddddeeeee. Ruuuuuuuuudddddddeeeee.

Open field Tackling/Hitting. Spotty at times particularly with K State, and A&M. Is the Ced- Marcus-Michael(Huff)-Aaron-Tarrell standard gonna be met or exceeded. Buehler...Buehler...

Pass Defense... Beasley, Palmer, Et Al.

Offensively

Fewer interceptions. No highlight here.

For the most part I thought the offense was potent. A more experienced line will be nice this year.

Looking forward to seeing Fozzy and Malcolm develop.

Rivals.com says that Shipley is looking sick in 7v7.

Special Teams

Blocked Punts...Please, Santa, Please.

Quan was productive and I'm not complaining, but a more explosive return game (insert Ramonce Taylor's Return against OSU 05 here) would be more entertaining.

Overall

No More malaise. Hopefully Mack has lit a fire under their "grundels." [Warning: Link incredibly NSFW and gross to boot -HB] Hahahaha....

Shipley

If he can just stay healthy, I have a great feeling about Shipley this year. I’m thinking 60 catches, 9 Td’s, and some end-arounds/ reverses to keep the defense on their toes. If he can only stay healthy….

re: NSFW Link

I don’t know how other people feel about NSFW links here, but I think they’re kind of out of place—a lot of us read this at work and may not have seen the italicized NSFW AFTER the link. I for one was clicking on each link after the text expecting highlights after the first one or two…

That said, awesome post with highlights to boot. We should encourage youtube videos being used as evidence for things we have to say. Sure, the sample size is one, but its a hella interesting way to make a point.
