Dockery and Orakpo get nods, but that's it for Texas. PB is pouting that Lamarr Houston isn't on this list. Sham.

Crabtree!

Why does Michael Crabtree’s name have an exclamation point after it? Were they really that excited?

Whoops

Didn’t read carefully, it denotes a unanimous choice. Congrats Crabtree!.

Look at the list on offense 4 from ou and Five from Missouri. Is this one huge media ass kissing. There was certainly no love expressed for for Kansas either.

Ok, still worried about OU's line.

So they have 965lbs of O-line on the Pre-Season All Big 12 list. Thats not what you want to see out of a team where the key to beating them is most likely to rush their QB.

Yikes.

Poor Aggies

Only placed their Punter on the list.

Baylor

I have a hard time respecting a list that has as many Baylor players as Texas players on it..

O Who?

Just an observation, but there isn’t a single player on the Pre season team on Oklahoma who is actually from the state.

OU has more players from TX than any other state

Usually does.

Something that shouldn’t be ignored in that however:
Texas population = 23,904,380 or 7.81% of the US population
Oklahoma population = 3,617,316 or 1.18% of the US population

Odds are there are about 7x the number of football players in TX than there are in Oklahoma. Thats without throwing in unmeasurables, like the quality of TX High School programs as compared to Oklahoma etc…

Stats by Wikipedia.

Even though the # of football players is 7 to 1

the number of teeth is 137 (TX) to 1 (OK) and amazingly the number of mobile homes is 1 to 1. Of course the number of crystal meth labs is 1 (TX) to 7 (OK) .

6 of the old Big 8 schools

have more Texans on their roster than they do kids from their own state.

Missouri is one of the more notable ones.

Colorado and Nebraska are the only outliers.
