BON Schedule
Obviously, the posting pace this summer has slowed to a crawl, for many reasons not worth belaboring.
With that said, we're nearing an end to my summer of (fun) chaos, as I'll be back to That Horrible City In Indiana on 8/18. Morning Coffee will return as a daily fixture, and I'll be posting more or less around the clock for two weeks leading up to kickoff.
Two points of order:
1) The Greg Davis Review is on hold; it was too ambitious a project for the time I had available this summer. As deep into the numbers as I wanted to get, there simply wasn't any realistic way for me to write the articles I wanted. The series will resume at some point, but not before this season.
2) Any calls for features or posts you want to see before the season should go here. Beginning the week of 8/18, expect some opponent previewing, national previewing, and the return of 24/7 news coverage; anything specific you want beyond that... ask here.

True Freshmen
Which true freshmen will play this year? These are my choices:
1)Dan Buckner
2)DJ Grant
3)Desean Hales
4)Jarvis Humphrey
5)Kheeston Randall
6)Aaron Williams
7)DJ Monroe
8)Blake Gideon
The coaches would probably like to redshirt one each of these positions, but the competition will be too close early on.

WR
it seems that they have a lot of receivers, so I wouldn’t be suprised to see Grant or Buckner redshirt (either or). I think Gideon will redshirt for sure. The DT’s should get a bunch of playing time this year. I hope to see Monroe and Hales return some kicks.

Hoops
I saw the article on Balbay in the AS this week. Is there anything else on what our players have been doing this summer?
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you're a mile away AND you have their shoes.
