New Blog: Five For Howling - for Coyotes fans Bar-right-arrows

Ross, Griffin, progressing nicely

Boy, that's a pretty good looking draft after one year, which will look even better if Russell and Quinn turn out to be top-flight QBs. Time will tell, of course, but it's interesting to see so many success stories so soon.

Lombardi calls Ross a "star," and expects Griffin to have a "big year."

"Aaron Ross, CB, Giants (No. 20): After playing well as a rookie, he looks even more confident and poised this year."

"Michael Griffin, S, Titans (No. 19): Settling on a position (at safety) will help him and he'll be able to use his speed and athletic ability to make more plays. The Titans need him to emerge."
