Fozzy injured

Uh oh! I am officially worried now. I was expecting Fozzy to be THE MAN for us a RB, and now he is injured. I am excited that Texas pretty much has no choice but to go back to the power backs with V. Mcgee, C. Johnson, and Chris O. I think Texas is a better team when using the power RB's. Hopefully this will be the launching pad for Cody Johnson and V. Mcgee.

I have no idea how severe the injury is, but I hope he will be able to play this year at 100%. If anybody knows any information on the injury, please update us.

Mack doesn't comment on injuries

unless they are season-ending, so don’t expect to hear anything official about Fozzy unless his injury is going to require surgery. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t bad enough to keep him out of practice, even some games.

The Statesman blog says the injury is “not thought to be serious,” but all that means is that they don’t know anything. They probably got that from reading the same message boards the rest of us read because the coaches never comment to the media about injuries that aren’t season-ending. They are allowed to, with the players’ permission, but they never do. It’s just their policy.

Update

The Inside Texas blog is reporting that Fozzy practiced Monday and according to another player, was moving fine. This does not appear to be anything to worry about other than wondering if Fozzy is going to be injury-prone.
