Rice Looking Great
SMU's nothing to speak of, but Rice is looking good in handing them a beatdown.
Chase Clement to Jarrett Dillard is pretty damn fun to watch. Two very solid football players.

James Casey
James Casey looks like a Tebow type player in Florida’s first MNC run. It’ll be a fun game in 3 weeks against the Owls.

Stud
That kid has NFL tight end written all over him.
My boy Sherrod says, "What's with all the Chiles love? Y'all forgettin' that it was #17 with the 70 yarder in the spring game..."

Rice
They are looking great. Looks like they are a much improved team.
SMU, though, is going through more rebuilding and a new head coach, June Jones. This may not be the best test for Rice, but it, at least, gives an eye into what to expect in 3 weeks.

all I could think of while watching SMU lose
was John Goodman.
You just got your asses WHIPPED…by a bunch of goddamn nerds. NERDS!!!
Rice is still Rice, and they’ll still get pummeled by texas. Handing SMU their 12th loss in their last 13 games really isn’t that much of an accomplishment.

Rice's offense was mostly smooth
But they also got a lot of gimme turnovers from SMU, and their D looked pathetic in the first quarter.
I dont think anyone is sweating Rice, but it was fun to watch their offense click.
Good news for June is he only needs a couple wins to improve from last season.
