Longhorn Injury Report
Mack Brown said that he expects that there will be no word on Tanner's status untill later in the week.
Tanner injuried his left ankle in the second quarter of the FAU game.
If Tanner is unable to go his replacement at left guard would be Michael Huey.Tanner was listed as the starter on the latest depth chart for the UTEP game but we will have to wait and see if he can go.
Since we seem to have an abundance of talented offensive lineman Tanner's absence might seem to be minor but it would hinder the development of continuity.
Fozzy Whittaker is expected to return to practice this week.He was being held out because of a minor knee injury suffered earlier in preseason workouts.

thanks for the update
I know a lot of folks want to see Huey grab the starting job, but a healthy Tanner still provides key depth for an inexperienced o-line, so here’s wishing him a speedy recovery.
Fozzy will be a key returnee as well. I loved the smash-mouth running of McGee, Oggie and Cody Johnson, but the lack of a home-run burst was clearly evident from our backfield. Show us some speed, Fozzy!

Tanner
After talking to Tanner he’s hoping to be back soon. So don’t count on him being gone a long time!! =D

Josh Marshall
Anyone know his status? If I’m not mistaken, he had established himself as the #1 TE before he suffered an injury.
