Does it count as a scalping if the victim has no brain?

that's....just....
I’m not sure what to say. I mean….seriously? Are they being serious? I know sarcasm is often lost on the internet…but….do they actually think…..?
Sad. That’s what it is. It’s sad.

LSU did lose twice last year.
So go ahead A&M cough up another one to New Mexico or Army, your MNC chances are just as good as before.

you guys won't be laughing so much
when Arky State runs the table and goes to a BCS bowl this year… :)
Of course, even on the 1/1,000,000,000,000 chance that happens, A&M will still have lost to them.

I can hear it already...
On that fateful day in August two perennial powers of college football met at last…Texas A&M and Arkansas State in a preview of the 2008 BCS National Championship game.

See Kübler-Ross model
Is this denial or bargaining?
Perhaps the most recognizable mascot in sports, and certainly the toughest looking, Bevo is a fixture

To quote David Brent:

Endless optimism I suppose.
It's a Horns' world. Even Aggies play hoops with a burnt orange ball.

Dumb and Dumber
I think that thread is best summed up by my boy, Lloyd Christmas.
Be nobody but yourself in a world that desperately wants you to be like everybody else.

Of course they still have a chance
If A&M transfers to Division II immediately, they would still have a chance to make the Championship Game. That’s surely what they meant, right? Please tell me that’s what they meant.

There's no way to respond to this, except
12-7 and 38-30. Maybe we ought not be casting the first stone.

Just because someone beats you
does not mean that you cant make fun of them for being idiots. It is the only way I was able to stomach 6 of the last 8 red river shootouts.

Jesus...
6 of 8? You’re right. JEEEE-SUS! Ugh, thanks for ruining this moment.

Glad I could be of assistance
I actually looked it up in two different places because I could not believe it the first time.

Perhaps the post is accurate...
Wait…does MNC stand for Middle-school National Championship. If so, I have no beef with the accuracy of the post.

Maybe they were just confused about what game film to watch...
i really thought when they lost McFadden and Felix Jones they wouldn’t be as good this year. Guess I was wrong.
Ran across that towards the end of this page.

Here's more hilarious Aggie delusions
You have to see for yourself.

Hopefully, he cries himself to sleep.
8. Texas … Backfield problems hurt ranking.
Shit, we just barely broke the 500-yard mark, 503, so I guess we’ll have to get better.
Lemme see, maybe 575 should be the mark this week.
Nah, let’s try 600. The lack of humidity should be worth 25 yards.

morons
My thoughts on this…see subject line.
What a bunch of idiots. Texas @8. Delusional, as usual.

While Beergut may be a little too pessimistic at 0-12
he still is much closer to reality than some of his fellow Ags. I think 5-7 is the most likely outcome for A&M, but only if they can overcome the shock of losing their first game like this.
While some at BON don’t like him, I think Beergut provides a valuable service as a Devil’s Advocate. Just please tell me, PB, that if any of the clowns talking about A&M’s possible appearance in the BCS championship game try to post on BON, that you have a way to kick them off.
