is struggling against Troy!

Mizzou

is struggling against Buffalo thanks to a turnover-prone receiving corps.

17-14 Mizzou with the 1st half coming to a close.

What happened at the start of the A&M game?

I am in Va, so I have to watch the VA Tech/UNC game. I see A&M is already up 7-0 20 seconds in the game.

Michael Irvin's bastard children

look much faster than the agrics. I see Miami pulling away late after they wear down the 12th man.

Mizzou/Buffalo

I am curious to see how Missouri comes out in the second half. No on this year has hung in close with them going into the half

by HornsRiverine on Sep 20, 2008 2:49 PM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Wow.

Mizzou has another receiver (Maclin!) fumble another catch in the red zone to give Buffalo the ball.

Too many people are on the Mizzou bnadwagon.

Honestly I am not impressed by Missouri, they have not had to play out of state (Illinois in St. Louis), their defense is extremely suspect and they have had a very easy schedule. The reason why Missouri would worry me is because the stretch of schedule Texas has to go through at that time. I am sick of hearing about Chase Daniel, when he starts playing against winning programs and doing what he does, then I will shut my mouth.

yup..

the UCLA loss looks a lot worse today..UCLA just got beat by Arizona…the same Arizona that lost to New Mexico..the same New Mexico that lost to A&M….wow

I got off to a late start and have only finished my first crown and coke. Stay tuned for more details.

I would hope he is.

Aren’t punters and kickers usually soccer players.

Rice v. Texas game

In houston, will sports bars be showing the game?

by dmannesman on Sep 20, 2008 4:02 PM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Alabama absolutely thrashed Arkansas earlier.

I only hope we can do exactly as they did, if not better.

Is Florida that good or is Tennessee this bad?

You can never tell in the SEC. I just can’t believe that Crompton is the best Tennessee could do at QB.

dammit

and we give up 13 on a rush

they are dominating our lines

41-10 Miami Pounding the Ags

And I thought it couldn’t get any worse than last years performance. At least this one is only on regional telecast.

They look more powerful than last year.

I think Mike Sherman is gonna do great things for A&M.

I wish A&M was playing better...

I’m a UT grad but have a relative that plays for A&M so I am pulling for them, except for one game this year.

A&M needs to give Sherman time. Everything changed this year- offense, defense, they lost a lot of players. But that being said, Kines really needs to close those gaps on the d-line. Other than the horrific gaff that turned into a touchdown, the secondary has played fairly well. The free safety saved two possible big gains, if not a score.

Johnson is going to be a good QB. He’s made some errors, but he is a freshman. I’m not sure if he is a redshirt freshman, but he has had very little on-field experience.

there were some positives in this game

I like what I’m seeing in our offense.

glf2,

Jerrod is a redshirt sophomore, but this was only his second career start. We have a poor offensive line, and going against a great DL like Miami’s is not a recipe for success. Still, Johnson had a good game, minus the two TOs. He has a 6:1 TD:INT ratio for the season so far.

Slowly but surely, we’re making progress.

How's the traffic going at your place?

You’re going to need all your observational powers to parse this season. However, I’d bet there will be an audience for good solid info that points to a better future.

Progress should be evident later in the season if y’all don’t get too beat up. It’s really an investment year. I think they’ll continue to use Jerrod a lot.

Good luck.
