Congrats for a pass rush
The Longhorns are tied for first place in sacks with 14 and losses of 144 yards.
Brian Orakpo is 2nd in country in sacks.
It been a while since the defence had a pass rush. Also 2nd in the country in stopping the run 52.5 ypg. not given up a rushing td yet ( only 3 passing) not bad.
On top of that CM is 2nd in the country in passing efficicency.
Points given up so far;
Oklahoma 38 points, 9.5 ppg
Missouri 34 points, 8.5 ppg
Texas 33 points, 8.25 ppg

we are first in the big 12
for not giving up points, and second in yards allowed. Overall, a solid defense. And let me just say how pleased I am with Muschamp and his second-half adjustments. It is so nice to have a D-coordinator with a brain and some fire.

If you switch
the roles of Chiles and Sh. Harris, Horns probably lead the nation in points allowed.

Where did your numbers come from?
They don’t quite jive with the NCAA’s stats
16 total sacks
43 points allowed
I like where you’re coming from though. It’s fun to have a pass rush, finally.

your right it is 16
I did check the site below NCAA div I national rankings
http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/natlRank.jsp?year=2008&div=IA&site=org
from this site I found 3 tds and 4 field goals but looking at the game results from the front page it is 43.
any ways it is great to have a defense again.
