After a hiatus last week, getting this up a little earlier so people have more time to weigh in. With fewer marquee matchups this weekend there are a lot of interesting games. Let me know if I'm missing anything or where/why you disagree. I've starred the games I feel are stronger about.

My 2 cents worth
line on Maryland scares me. Think TTech will cover that spread easily. I’d stay away from both games involving Arizona schools; in fact, Pac-10 seems psycho to me at this point.
Nothing would surprise me with Aggies-OSU, but 24 seems way too high. A month ago, this game was under a touchdown.

My take on Pac 10
-Washington State is struggling mightily. Until they cover a spread they’re in my “bet against” category, no matter the spread.
-Locker just went down this past weekend for Washington. He was their leader and the only bright spot on a team thin at talent anywhere. Until further notice, that team is a rudderless ship.
-the Az St/Cal game is one I will probably pass on, but I think this will be a close one. Same feel for the USC/Oregon game.

USC/Oregon
wont even be a game. USC is mad, Oregon is down to their 532756923756273569283756 string QB and the talent at USC obliterates Oregon anyday. course I would have said USC was gonna destroy OSU so ya never know.

Is that line right?
Re: Oregon-USC? Or is it supposed to be +17?
As far as Tech is concerned, -7 might be a bit low. But remember, they always lose a conference road game they shouldn’t. And I bet K State will be pumped to host a top 10 team.

Also...
General observation: you’re taking quite a few road teams to cover. It’s hard to pick much differently from you, but coming off last weekend I ain’t puttin my money anywhere.

Point Taken
But a lot of those games feature Big 12 teams that I’m reasonably familiar with (as most of BON’s readers will be thanks to PB’s recaps) and comfortable taking. There’s not a lot of science to my picks but i tend to stay on teams that cover. TTech, Ok St, OU, and Texas are all undefeated ATS so far. Mizzou failed to cover vs. Buffalo but I’m not jumping off that bandwagon just yet. I don’t think Nebraska is ready for the offensive fireworks that are coming to Lincoln. They came up short vs Va Tech in a big measuring stick game last week and that tells me they ain’t ready. Had K State impressed vs. Louisville, I may have different thoughts in this one. But with a week off I think Tech will roll. It’s hard for Longhorn fans to fathom, but K State rarely plays up to the talent they are facing when it’s not wearing burnt orange. Is 24 too many in OSU/A&M? Probably. But I really do think Aggy is THAT bad this year and as noted by PB this Cowboy team is the best team in the country that no one’s talking about.
