With Fozzy's speed
I’d like to see him return some kickoffs/punts

yes, nice catch
but helluva throw by Colt. I don’t miss Jevan or Ryan at all
I have figured it out!!!
muschamp is tricking arkansas next wk
he wants them to think that we are reckless blitzing team like we were last year
only possible explanation other than lamar playing redonkulously monsterous role on defense
my first born shall be named vy
well, it's clearly
coaching and execution, cuz utep can’t touch ut’s athletic skill
what the hell was that?
Did the receiver f that up?
what kind of a pass is that
In Mack Brown We Trust!
i'd say bad play,
but it’s Colt. I’m guessing the WR didn’t get where he’s sposed to
hmm
That was badass defense. Great individual effort.
At least we got a 3 and out there.
Good start. Hopefully we can force some turnovers to blow this open

tech wins 35-19
so conference is 11-0 with Texas playing.
But I can’t think of a single significant win. OSU over UH is best I can come up with.
After last week...
A&M’s was significant. They lose that and they are looking at 3 wins max.
coaches keep saying
the sack doesn’t mean what it used to. Guess it doesn’t when you have 0.
What the crap just happened?

Horrible call
Bounced freaking twice. Three Years ago and that play stands.
How do I reach theze Keeeeedz
Where is Senor Cartmenez when we need him to reach theze keeeeedz.
They need to learn..

Gut check time for Texas
This could turn into a close game real quick.
Refs
I think everytime those refs screw up that back they should lose have there pay I mean that ball rolled every bit of 3 yards and you cant see that
Time out?
I suppose the five minute replay timeout wasn’t enough to make a play call.
Ah, frick!

holy shit
The difference between 1st and 2nd half offense is like night and…err…day.
Mars is in the seventh house

This is where we cue Chiles' entry.
One of those little opportunities to light things up.
Hopefully with Fozzy.
is is just me
or is our offensive line getting outplayed?
Seems like if you’re stronger and, arguably, better, you’d line up and run some I-formation stuff with a 220-pound back until you beat the stuffing out of the defense. this whole game has been rollouts and short passes.
into the shell
Maybe it’s just an issue of execution, but the last two series have been reminiscent of the tuck-it-in offense of the past couple years.
if somebody is listening to longhorn radio
what are they saying about Miller?
They're speculating...
that he landed on the football and lost his breath for a bit.

Run the ball?
Whittaker and McGee are averaging 5.9 ypc. Is it just me or shouldn’t they have more than 9 combined carries? There is no balance right now.
very efficient
it’d be nice to touch the QB, but . . . .

well, fozzy
has his strengths, mcgee has his. fozzy is a much better long threat. but he hasn’t earned the right to get 20 carries yet.
How many yards and points
did UTEP give up last week?
Good gosh

by TheElusiveShadow on Sep 6, 2008 11:55 PM CDT reply actions
Used
Beasley. On the other hand, great throw and athletic catch.
exactly right.
sometimes you gotta give the other guys credit
Absolutely his fault
Beat off the line, but he didn’t compound it by going for the int and leave him open for TD.
Hook'em
No sir
Footwork was perfect; played exactly right. Beasley was there, but the throw was up and over the outside shoulder. Nothing you can do there.
--PB--
Our DTs gotta
do better than that. If you can’t clog the middle, the LBers can’t be part of the coverage and bliztz
I disagree
That ball was slightly underthrown. A great catch but I’d hope our athletes could make a play on those balls better than UTEP’s.

Don't waste Q package
It’s a pretty much a win…maybe not as pretty as we’d like, but you don’t want to waste it this game. Hopefully Colt can finish this drive with a TD and get Chiles some pt.
Hook'em
gotta an idea...
a pass thrown farther than 10 yards….. it’ll shock the hell out of them!
From the looks of the 3rd quarter...
either Colt was affected by that hit at the end of the half or he reverted back to 2007 Colt before our eyes. And maybe he’s just missing his throws at the moment and it’s just a fluke.
Either way
I’m looking for him to make a strong run in the 4th (1-2 TD passes)

by Super Saiyan Patrick on Sep 7, 2008 12:12 AM CDT reply actions
well,
davie’s analysis would make you think so. I thought the inside DB just blew it.
true, he did.
although, i do think that play, with the route run that well would work against just about any DB.
OMG
WR screens for all those years was to set up that very play!?!?!
And we didn’t even save it for OU?
It has been a strange day of football
and things haven’t come easily…unless your Florida State, who has struggled so much.
Price is plenty wise, an expert in monkeywrench.

I want 56.
Any predictions on when Mack eases up?
hey,
Davie’d be a better coach at Aggieville than who they hired
Doubt it
He had pretty decent talent at ND and he didn’t get much done. Sherman doesn’t have as much to work with and may have a mini rebellion with Lane and McGee. Complete change of schemes for them.
Hook'em
If you have a DVR
go back to 12:05 central time when they were showing people hanging out on the rock watching the game. They circled a couple with the telepen or whatever they call it. She was giving him a handjob. I’ve called my wife and a friend in to verify and it is indeed a nationally televised (under the pants,) yellow circled handjob.
If it were up to me, I'd blitz on offense too.
That's what I thought...
But I didn’t think they would show that on National TV so I waived it from my mind.

A lot of dropped passes by...UTEP
Nice INT, but UTEP’s receivers have bailed out UT’s secondary. Can’t expect that many drops against better competition.

Did the announcers say that Davis knew Muschamp from Georgia?
Is that how we got him here? Greg Davis? If so, Samosonite. I was way off on my opinion of Davis

He is actually from a town of 714 people. Can you imagine coming from a town with 714 people? That’s seven hundred, ten, and four. And it’s in Texas, which has a lot of people but Colt’s town doesn’t.
