Yes ... Thank You to Quan!
I believe that Quan has a future in the NFL as a slot receiver. Anybody with hands (and heart!) like him has a place in the NFL. Good luck Quan!!

Yeah, he’s definitely worth a draft pick, even as a third receiver. So many teams need a pair of reliable hands at slot that he could come in very useful, and his speed and moves aren’t bad either. I think he’d be invaluable in an offense that relies on the short and intermediate passing. And while he’s not the most exciting of punt/kickoff returners, he’s reliable as a non-fumbler who can get an uneventful but respectable gain every time he decides to return the ball—making him a great backup to your turnover-prone but exciting guys.
I know a guy who is friends with Quan, and he told me a year ago that Quan was considering declaring for last year’s draft because of his age. The fact that he’s 26 is going to hurt his draft status a bit, but I think he’s still a 5th rounder at worst.

I don't know if a team will expend a draft pick on him
Simply because of his age. However, I definitely think teams will eye him as a potential steal as an undrafted free agent.

He will get drafted...
…being an ex QB, he has an understanding of the offense that few receivers posses. I’m not ready to claim that he will be Hines Ward or Randle-El, but he certainly has the capability. Given the right opportunity, he can be a legitimate #2. The man from Mart will be missed…on the field and in the locker room.
Texas great Receivers:
1) Lovell Pinkney
2) Wayne McGarity
3) Kwame Cavil
4) Mike Adams
5) Quan Cosby
Old Boss sure can cowboy….
Yeah, they broke the mold after him.

Err…yes. Roy Williams? Limas Sweed?

Lovell Pinkney? Really?
Pinkney was a physical freak, no doubt. However, he is the biggest waste of physical talent that has ever set foot on the 40 acres. His work ethic was terrible. He ran terrible routes. Moreover, his bad attitude infected other receivers in the locker room – receivers that had much better years after Pinkney left (see Mike Adams).
You can make an argument for everyone else on that list being a great receiver, but not Pinkney.

They’ve been shortchanging their QBs on WRs for years. They’re lucky that Mason developed well for McNair, but no one else has really been very good at any point since he left. I only wish Vince had the kind of receivers Warner/Leinart have in ’Zona.

I could see the Cowboys drafting him
He would be a great fit because he adds a completly different element compared to Owens, Williams, and Witten.

list of receivers
sorry guys…I guess I’m a sentimental fella, and those our my personal favorites. But yes, if I expanded the list, Roy and Limas would make an appearance. However, they might fall behind BJ Johnson, the Cash twins, and Bo Scaife.

the greatest hands i've seen
did he drop more than 2 passes all year? the ones he missed were more than a circus catches.
he caught 3 or more passes with the defender was draped all over him, penalty flag comes in and he comes away with the ball in his hands.
made handful of big amazing blocks this year. between him and Shipley best combo of receivers at Texas ever. high proficiency. Amazing year, but no recognition.

I think he dropped at least two passes in the TT game. Bad timing. Sad panda.

Is there a roster for the Senior Bowl yet?
That website is an abomination and I can’t figure out who all they’ve invited.
(BTW, 9 or something seniors from OU, wow!)
