Eleven People Greet Sooners' Return, More Than Last Year Though

"Eleven people, not counting police officers and media members, showed up Friday at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium to welcome the Oklahoma football team back from Miami."

And...

"Lori McClure, a Norman resident who came because her 11-year-old son, Harrison McClure, is a big OU fan, said the gathering was actually larger than it was last year."

Apparently this playcalling is nothing new during bowl season

The coordinators are just signaling to Sammy B to “start sucking.”

"...win or lose, you play the game fair."

BWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Wow that’s funny.

So glad the dirty cheaters lost.

Man, I would hate to see

a high school football game in Guthrie, OK. If the Sooners are held up as an example of fair play, what must the games be like there? Maybe this is the real reason OU buys recruits so many Texas players. All the Okie high schoolers have been maimed by their “fair play”.

I noticed this .....

live and we have DVR so I rewound it just to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. Hilarious.

Now, that's not

a 5th grade garbage. Rather, it’s a hard news report that can back up with facts. Thanks for this BON news alert. Nicely done, 40AS.

That is just sad, where is the team spirit?

Color me impressed

Woman must have used her toes to count to eleven. Now that’s being resourceful!

Maybe it was an act of kindness

They didn’t want the players to feel outmanned twice in as many days.

Seriously, though, that’s a hell of a way to treat a bunch of kids and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, even OU

Puh-lease!

They reap what they sow. Your sympathies are misplaced. The bunch of kids you have such concern over had the audacity to claim they were better than the team that beat them and cast aspersions on the team that beat them – before they got beat again by a team that the team that beat them would have easily handled and saved the Big 12 from another embarrassment.

The bunch of kids you care about had no clothes and were exposed for the frauds they were. Up OU’s butt! Ha, Ha, Ha! They deserve every bit of the shame and loneliness the college football fan world can heap upon them, even their own fans. This was a delicious moment and doesn’t deserve to be minimized or sympathized with for even a second. Unless you’re a Dirt Burglar, in which case Ha, Ha, Ha!

Corporate Stadium sell-out

Isn’t it great that OU sold out their stadium name to corporate America. They should call it the BS Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (er, Barry Switzer’s initials). LOL.

Question?

Is it the responsibility of the local OKC news media to advertise the flight intineraries for the University of Oklahoma football team and the scheduled bus pick up time from the Will Rogers World Airport to the OU campus? Seriously. If not, this thread is stupid…..BOOMER!

As I learned from watching the Heisman ceremony

Proper etiquette is to let you continue yelling “Boomer” until completely certain that it’s not going to stop, and then responding with an embarrassed and quiet “Sooner” while simultaneously feeling ashamed for my alma mater.
