In what has turned out to be a sort of "Black Tuesday" for Longhorn football recruiting efforts, Texas High School receiver Cobi Hamilton announced his decision to attend Arkansas. In the end, his family and personal connections to Fayetteville made it too little, too late for efforts to lure him to Austin. Obviously, the loss of Kennard stings more, as he is a much more highly-touted recruit, but in analyzing Hamilton and watching film on him over the last week or so, his combination of size and speed certainly grew on me and he would have been a good addition to the class. Your loss, buddy, but no ill will. Razorback country is punishment enough.
