Check out Eddie's ensemble...

He was wearing an orange tie, and had to change it at the last minute to red. Hence the ugly brown suit with the scarlet tie. He claimed it was the “wardrobe department.” Maybe we have some friends at FOX after all. He actually looked like more of a tool than Switzer…

This is put up time....

For the past month all we have seen is speculation and conjecture about how slighted IT was when they lost out on a chance to play for the MNC. We’ve all been touting 45-35 until we’ve been blue in the face and yet we still came up short. But the fact remains that this season has been more magical than anything we could have predicted four months ago. No matter what happens I cannot even begin to express how proud I am of all the boys, Colt McCoy, Shipley, Orakpo, Gideon….everyone.

Yet this game we have the chance to prove to EVERYONE just how much Texas deserved to be playing in Miami. A great showing, a dominant tour de force that is UT football will go along way to establishing a Nat. Championship next season.

a few predictions

I’ve been feeling 31-17, Texas, all day. Hoping for a big blowout, but I’ll take any Texas win first and foremost.

How about a different wrinkle for Offensive MVP- JOR-DAN SHIP-LEY (Did you know that he was Colt’s roommate? SWEET!!) I could see him making a big special teams play, be it a big return, or perhaps a sweet fake.

Defensive MVP- He may not put up crazy numbers, but how about big Roy Miller locking down the D-line in (hopefully) shutting down Wells?
