Winner-Winner: Quan Cosby Buries OSU
Comments
Collins
When Collins first got up from being injured, I was thinking he should have stayed down so we could get a receiver in that could run without burning a penalty, but him getting up was huge. If he had stayed down it would have allowed Ohio St to regroup.

Looked to me like Collins just had a nasty cramp, nothing worse. He worked it out and got back into position.
That Quan catch is one for the archive. He and Colt make it look easy.

Excessive celebration?
Anyone know if it was Chiles or Beez that got flagged?

Penalty called on Number 7
Yeah, I thought that was strange. Perhaps the ref was just awarding Quan a “+1”

I thought
I thought the ref misspoke and meant to call Quan’s #6. That dive into the endzone was unnecessary. It’s possible he thought there was a defender on his ass, but there wasn’t. Players always get flagged for that kind of dive. If it was Beasley or Chiles I think they would have called a sideline penalty, or whatever it’s called.

Makes sense
That official was obviously high all night. He could not have been less interested in that game.

I think this call is a piece of crap
If the team celebrates like this for just any ordinary TD, maybe, just maybe I can agree. But dude, this was the TD of TD’s to end the game and win at the last second. Do you really expect the emotions to be throttled at this point by either team?? It’s not like they were taunting or being disrespectful. They were celebrating a much needed and timely score at the most crucial part of the game. I hate this stupid rule.

Come on guy!!!!
You don’t appreciate the formula of run a play, tv timeout, officials review of the play, tv timeout, kick field goal, tv timeout, kick off, tv timeout.

my favorite nugget
“Colt McCoy doing his best Matt Hasselbeck”
HUH? who’s go-to guy as an example as someone who audibles out of plays is Matt Hasselbeck?? Either the play by play guy is a BC grad or he’s never heard of Peyton Manning.

In Vasgersian's defense
The last time he was sober for a broadcast, Hasselbeck was still relevant…

Great win last night!
It was a great game, Quan was great in the interview at the end. Nice to see someone act respectful and gracious. Much as I would have liked the Big 10 to win at least one BCS bowl, I get much enjoyment from an OSU loss

As usual...
any time spent with Texas (in any manner, whether I’m there or blogging) is a good time. Man, I had a good time last night watching / blogging the game.
How about those HEMI commercials huh?!

![This year's senior night for Texas wasn't a particularly memorable one. AJ Abrams and Connor Atchley were relatively quiet, while Baylor barely showed up to compete. I'll take the comfortable win, but the snoozer of a game certainly didn't do much to feed the appetite for excitement.
For that, then, we turn to Pullman for Washington State's senior night overtime thriller, where in his final home game as a Cougar Taylor Rochestie kept WSU red hot and streaking towards the NCAA Tournament. Incredible...
March Madness is here.
