USC DC Nick Holt leaves for Washington
The Unversity of Washington announced Monday that Nick Holt is leaving USC to become the new defensive coordinator at Washington, plucked away by new Huskies head coach Steve Sarkisian, another former Trojans' assistant.
Nick Holt was the Defensive coordinator for the USC Trojans.
This affects Texas because Devon Kennard is considering USC and Texas.
Anybody think this will affect his decision? I think so, we know from Darell Scott that when you change position coaches, some recruits might rethink their decisions.

interesting
first off as a career move it seems weird to leave USC to take the same position at Washington but I’m sure he has his reasons.
I don’t think it can hurt Texas’ chances with Kennard.
He's not the DC at USC.
Carroll is the DC at USC, at least that is how everyone sees it. Remember in 05 when ESPN talked about giving Carroll time to prepare? I think he sees this as his chance to get out of Carroll’s shadow.
My two cents on Kennard...
I think he would be able to have an immediate impact at Texas, which is not something I think he would be able to have at USC. Just saying.
