Just a few quick thank yous
Thanks, Colt, for providing us one of the greatest seasons ever by a Texas player. Thanks for putting God first, your teammates second, and yourself just after the guy in the orange shirt. No, not him, the guy next to him, with the big hair.
Thanks, Mack, for being classy, even when Stoops and Leach weren't. Thanks for not running up the score and thanks for another trophy for the case.
Thanks, Quan, for balancing a family and football and in the process becoming the hero of one of the most thrilling games ever.
Thanks, Jordan, for playing Vivaldi's Four Seasons on your second fiddle. Although Colt got most of the attention, you were incredible. For sure the fastest white guy i've ever seen. Your heroics were instrumental in beating in OU and I can't wait for next year.
Thanks, Rak, for being the beast that we knew you could be. You really raked in those awards. You could bench 515. That's heavier than most OU fans. Most, but certainly not all.
Thanks, Blake, for finding a way to put your error behind you. You had a great freshman season that was overshadowed by one play that probably still haunts your dreams. Consider yourself lucky. My dreams are being haunted by this wierd owl thing. It's much scarier at night. Trust me.
Thanks, Roy, for being ignored, yet loved, the whole year, and then finally getting the recognition you deserved. I, for one, was shocked to see you on the podium after the Fiesta Bowl but I was sure nobody deserved it more than you did.
Thanks, Sergio, for finally living up to your potential. You were almost too good. Please don't leave us.
And finally, thanks, Coach Muschamp, for firing up some players that were previously flatter than the Nebraska under a rolling pin. You made this year possible. Without you, we would not have beaten OU, and we wouldn't have almost beaten Tech.
Thanks, everybody. Good night and Hook 'em Horns.
