Bradford going pro?

So if this is true, what does this to do OU's team next year? Does the guy next in line step up and play like Bradford did last year or will it it be tough without the weapons that will probably be leaving (O-line, TE, etc)? Also, could this be a major distraction the day before their bowl game?

blOwU loses
after this year
their O line will have 1 returning starter next year.
M Johnson and Iglesias are gone. Jermaine Gresham will go pro.
leaving Murray and Brown and Broyles.
their defense loses just a player unless some go pro.
I don’t see him coming back no matter if they when tomorrow or not.
Florida wins tomorrow anyways 44 to 35.
Bradford dont go
i don’t want Bradford to go i want us to play against him next year
Yes
We need OU to be good next year, especially with our non-conf schedule. Without OU, our only hope for a win over a top 15 team would be OK. St.
If he comes back, it would set up a perfect match between Texas and OU in regards to the QB cycle. After next year Colt and Sam are gone, then in come the new guys, Chiles/Gilbert and Landry Jones.

I agree...
it would be nice to put the beat down on him with a sophomoric line. I think it would be a true test of his skills unlike this year when he had all day to throw the ball, well that is for most of the games.

hopefully Crabtree goes pro too
and Gresham if he’s not a senior
i thought..
..he was “waiting” til the 15th (deadline) to decide on his future..but I agree that he is pretty much gone.
Rotoworld reports that he has informed a number of people that he’s heading to the NFL, but I think the injury could keep him back.
As for Bradford, I’ve read reporting that he’s declaring as well, but I hope it isn’t true. Four offensive linemen (five if you count Baxton, who started at RT before getting injured) are graduating, three of the top four receivers are too, plus there’s the chance that any of Gresham, Chris Brown, and Murray could declare early. Let’s see how Bradford does when his only fellow returning offensive player is part-time starter Broyles. True, only the safeties are seniors on defense, but McCoy, Granger, Clayton, and even Jackson are potential early entries.

Bradford is probably gone
The only reason that Bradford would not go pro is if he is afraid to play for the Lions. He will probably be the #1 quarterback taken in the draft. I wished he wouldnt, but I think he is gone.
Chiefs... haha.
That would put him with Jamaal Charles in the backfield, and Derrick Johnson covering his butt on defense. Oh the irony…

Bradford sent me a text message earlier, in it was stated this:
"Im so nervous for tonight. Dont tell anyone this but Im declaring for the nfl draft. I looked up my draft grade on ESPN.com and it says I will be the #1 QB drafted. Bob Stoops and the rest of the Sooners can Suck my **** "
did he admit that he didn't deserve the Heisman as well...
and that Colt was a much better QB than he was, with a hotter girlfriend? ;-)
Why do people think Bradford would be such an early pick? He’s a productive player in a spread system that is not conducive to NFL play, and he’ll only have two years of starting experience. He makes okay reads, but not compared to more experienced passers. His arm isn’t all that impressive. His size and production are really the only things he possesses that are in keeping with what you’d expect of a top-ten draft pick. Stafford, as crappy as he is, at least has the physical tools and shows pro-style throws in a pro-style offense.
I’m a Chiefs fan. I’d gag if he were their pick at #34, but I’d be absolutely livid if they were to draft him at #3 overall.

I bet Stafford goes before Bradford.
He’s more of a complete QB than Bradford’s statue of liberty style. Detroit needs a QB that’s going to be able to run for his life.

You know, this is exactly why I think I’d rather see Bradford in Detroit. Well, it’s one of the reasons. Here’s a longer, albeit not exhaustive, list:
1. Roy Williams is no longer there, so he wouldn’t be connecting for touchdowns from Bradford.
2. Bradford would get chewed up and shat out the backside behind that offensive line.
3. There’s the chance that Redding would have a few shots at accidentally smashing Bradford in practice.
