Post your final top 10 ranking prediction
Here is MY prediction:
1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Utah
4. USC
5. OU
6. TCU
7. Alabama
8. Oregon
9. Georgia
10. Penn St
Realistically, Ut will probably not be 2nd, esp since Utah won by such a huge margin (and undefeated) and USC beat PSU, which beat Ohio St.
Which leads me to an early look at next years top 5 2009 preseason prediction rankings
1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Alabama
4. OU
5. USC

Unfortunately all anyone cares about right now is your bowl game. I wouldn’t be shocked if OU was higher than us or Utah.

The bowl games in general. Not just one team. No one thinks about the regular season anymore.
And FYI that’s what I think it will look like, not how I would vote it.

goin with 5
1. Texas
2. Florida
3. USC
4. Utah
5. OU
This would be my ballot, and for Utah lovers, they can go get in a real conference. then they earn the right to have a top two vote.
Time for a playoff.

next year preseason poll
No way OU should start in the top 5 with all the talent they’re losing, even if Bradford is duped into coming back.

Neither can Bob.
That $3,000,000 10-year bonus is looking pretty silly now though.
Does OU really want to give him $6.11 M for such splendor?

Small consolation that the voters finally got it right on Texas v. OU.

The poll is not perfect
The still somehow managed to vote Tech at #11 and Ole Miss at #13. Guess they didn’t bother to watch the Cotton Bowl

You have to admit
All along the way I was whining about how Florida’s loss was much worse than our loss. You can still argue that, but Ole Miss whooping Tech on a neutral field sort of dampers the argument.

Also it was only a one point loss, a blocked XP, similar to our situation, except they only lost by 1
