Holy. Crap.
Just spewed coffee all over my monitor.
Muschamp seems like the kind of guy who used to beat up guys like Bob Stoops in high school.

MANGINO IS IN THE OU BAND?!
HOLY SH*T!
Ok, ok, I’m sorry. That was mean. I shouldn’t make fun of the vixen who lured Jamarkus McFarland to Norman with her siren song…
SOOOOOOOOOEY!

Can we not go this way?
As a die hard Longhorn fan, I’m all for needling the Sooners but this picture I don’t think serves us well or represents UT. Venables, Stoops and other OU public figures are open for ridicule or mirth. This girl doesn’t deserve that.

absolutely agree....
It is one thing to mock the tears but its sad and shameful that we need to resort to fat jokes and sooooey…
How can we accuse others of lacking class??

Because it had no fat jokes.

I agree...
I have seen this photo on just about every sports site this week with a plethora (yes, a plethora!) of fat jokes. Let’s keep that off of here. We already have plenty of OU material without this……

No mercy for the undeserving.
Now normally I would stand up for decorum and say that we shouldn’t kick folks when they are down. I also generally don’t believe in slamming on innocent “civilians” in our border war with the okies. In this circumstance I have to side with the meaner members of our little community here.
I had third row tickets to the RRS this year and was looking forward to the highlight of my yearly trip to Dallas, the Longhorn Band doing Shotgun Texas. Unfortunately the okie band happened to be on the sidelines in front of me waiting their turn during the LHB and this girl and her cohort decided to scream the whole time at me and my sister and do their own versions of our songs. I specifically remember her face. Now I am a big boy and can take the jabs of the ignorant masses from norman in stride. They were perfectly within their right to bray like jackasses the whole time and inform me how much they hated us and everything about Texas.
While I don’t ever want to stoop to the level of the great unwashed okie horde in this case seeing her crying at the end of the game washed away 90% of the bitterness I felt about this season and getting screwed by ou. You live by the sword you die by the sword okie band girl. When I turn on my computer each morning and see your sad face I will think back to that warm October day in Dallas when you all full of rage and jealousy proceeded to hurl venom at me and a smile will creep over my face.
In the words of the immortal Eric Cartman “Your tears taste so yummy!”
Joe John Finley has herpes. He got it from Bob Stoops.

OU experiences
I don’t say derogatory things about the other school or the team out of principle. I never have and I never will. Like the players, we as UT grads represent our school and state and to stoop to those levels just reinforces any stereotype people have of Texas.
But I have to say that all the years I have gone to the OU game in Dallas, I have never had a good experience. The fans are rude and their behavior is hideous. I had the unfortunate luck of staying at the OU host hotel one weekend and the experience was horrific. We did not wear anything burnt orange and stayed out of the way of all the hotel guests out of fear for being treated the way you mentioned in your post. We did watch as other unlucky UT fans were degraded and hassled. The OU team’s behavior reminded me of watching prisoners on MSNBC’s show Lockup.
I just keep telling myself that the few do not represent the whole and there must be good Okies out there… somewhere.

my only point is why Stoop to taking shots at her physical imperfections, that's all
no problem with mocking the tears of defeat but Mangino comments or food references…. Nothing clever or funny about a fat joke.

Amen
To revel in a Sooner’s misery is one thing but the comments for this post seem to be more directed towards her appearance than the tears streaming down her face. Pretty lame if you ask me.
Plus, this doesn’t even come close to the original Crying OU Boy. Now that was classic!
