unfufilled season
first off, tonight's game was very similar to the Red River Rivalry game. Close, until the end when the BETTER team won. ALSO the better QB won, meaning Sam Bradford shouldn't have won the Heisman. In a completely biased perspective, UF played the best football all year. Colt McCoy was the MVP of all college football with Tim Tebow a close second. Texas had the toughest schedule, of all the worthy teams to make a fuse over the NCS, the Longhorns lost last. Causing them to fall from BCS title contention. but obviously should have been playing tonight instead of blOw U.
Although if Florida played Texas tonight instead of the 2nd best team in the Big 12, it would have came down to the last play or a single play. Much like the Texas Tech game for Texas and the Ole Miss Game for Florida. IT SUCKS cause that would have been a better game than tonight and Mondays Fiesta Bowl.
USC and Utes have a reason to bark. if they all faced off in a 4 team playoff, it would come down to UT and UF, these teams came back and showed a toughness the other 2 teams didn't. Some will say Texas squeaked by tOSU but Texas didn't want to be playing on Monday. They wanted to play Thursday. Even getting a huge screw job they still came out on top. JUST like Florida they shouldn't have won their bowl game. With OU not scoring twice in the red zone. Very similar too tOSU complaints. Should haves, what if's, and statistics are for losers.
With all that said, Its a great time to be a Longhorn. It feels good to Champion, and not 0 - 5 in our last BCS bowl games. This time next year BCS Championship goes through Austin? does Tebows ego/privates get stroked for another season by everyone? 2009 will be the same confusion and controversy?

Bradford...?
What pisses me off to no end with the Heisman is it is a statistical glorification award given to the best QB (or RB in off years) in the nation. Bradford? Really…Bradford? Sure he is one of the most accurate college QB’s I can recall ever see play, but if he is forced to move an inch laterally forget about it. Tebow may not be the best passer but the guy can make plays when needed (still not sure why he is considered so great though). But Bradford? Best player in the country? Don’t think so. Where is his leadership? His heart? He looked scared and clueless last night. Just like the RRS he never looked poised enough to LEAD his team through adversity and carry them to a win. Hmmm…let’s see. McCoy is pretty good at that…so was VY. I guess we are spoiled here in a Burnt Orange Nation where our QB’s lead our teams to great achievements on the field.
From now on I don’t give a rat’s ass who wins the Heisman.
Bradford? Psst…
The Fox commentators couldn’t stop gushing about Tebow long enough to notice that Harvin was the real MVP for the Gators. Until they started lining Harvin up in the backfield the UF offense was completely ineffective, except for (wait for it) a couple dump-offs to Harvin that he broke for solid gains.
Tebow is a great college QB but without Harvin they lose the game.
I completely agree
Harvin was the cog last night…I cannot believe I still have friends that ACTUALLY believe that this season has been settled. That the best team won…HA!
