DJ Monroe Will Reportedly Return To School ($)
Despite earlier reports to the contrary (read: mine), redshirt freshman DJ Monroe will remain in school. No further word than that, but he will likely have to get his grades in order this spring to be able to play in the fall.

Summer school, baby. Keeps him on campus, out of trouble, and on track to contribute in 2009.
We had a guy on my team who failed to meet the school’s academic eligibility standards for his sophomore season, and basically just took his redshirt that year. I think he still met the NCAA eligibility standards, and Monroe has already used his redshirt, so I’m not sure what his options are if he doesn’t pass enough credits to become eligible again.
