Colorado at West Virginia | Open Thread
Epic matchup between the 'Buffs and Mountaineers.
Game is already in the 2nd quarter, all tied up at 7.
Anyone up for this? If not, atleast I just didn't clog up the Fanposts.

So far..
Noel Devine opened up the scoring with a 75 yard touchdown run. Colorado responded with a 30 yard run from Darrell Scott Rodney Stewart.
Since Colorado plays offense like
a challenged ACC squad, maybe I’ll pass this game. Darrell Scott — why does that name sound so familiar?
It's a good chance to watch 'Horns next opponent
Scott was the highly touted recruit from California who snubbed Texas a couple years ago.

There you go.
That was the first time I have seen him on the field.

With the exception of Scotty McKnight
All of the CU receivers seem to be on completely different pages than Cody. It’s like they have different playbooks.
Yes
You were correct about Hawkins and McKnight being on the same page.

Random thought about Scott
He could very well be a bust, but he has to have enough talent to get playing time on this offense. Stewart is great, but you would think they could get him involved somehow.
That first play from scrimmage
where they faked the WR screen, was one of the worst overthrows I have seen. The receiver was open by 15-20 yards.

The funny thing about that
is the fact that there was another receiver going deep wide open on that play as well.
10 wins, no excuses
hahahaahahahahahhahahahahahhaahhaahaahhahahahahahahahahahah
we are gonna go 2005 on CU and get Hawkins fired after we put up triple digits
CU is a running joke in the Big 12 and D-1A football
"We'll be baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!"
the sad part
is the CU athletic dept. is so strapped for cash that they can’t afford to fire Hawkins after this year. Hawkins will be back.

Did anyone see Colorado's first 4th down conversion attempt?
Hawkins was chased out of the pocket and almost tackled, but the wonderful Big 12 refs at the game permitted just enough holding to allow Hawkins to get the ball to his receiver for the 1st down.
We <3 you big 12 refs!!!
