Texas Beats OU
Ok, it was the Gazelles in Gregory not the guys in the RRS, but it's a good start nonetheless. Texas stays undefeated with yet another sweep against an average OU squad. This one was closer than it should have been, according to Ashley Engle, because OU upset the Horns in Austin last year and the Gazelles were thinking too much about revenge.

OU's volleyball coach is the reason, imho
the guy would get on the court or start arguing with the refs anytime we got our game. The same thing happened during the last lose to OU at home.
The guy was ridiculous to our players and refs. They came not to play but to whine and just to piss off the crowd and players.
Yes, that’s his style. I can’t imagine any parent sending their daughter to play for that guy.

Totally agree....
Teams take on the personality of their coach sometimes. In the case of OU, that is not a good thing. Twice in the early part of the match, the OU players stopped playing in the middle of a point to argue with the ref. Both times Texas got easy points. The funniest was when Yogi didn’t hear the whistle to begin serve. It was obvious she was waiting for the whistle so the ref repeated the hand motion to serve. The entire OU team including their setter started screaming at the ref to blow the whistle as enough time had expired to give OU the sideout. Yogi served the ball and got an ace because no one on the OU side was watching the serve they were all looking at the ref. OU was leading by 3 at that point and Texas went on to tie it up.
With Stanford’s upset of Washington last night, we’re down to a two-horse race between the Gazelles and Penn State – who have their toughest test of the season today, a road match at #5 Minnesota at 1pm this afternoon.
