Texas falls to No. 3 in AP Poll

I think a lot of us saw this one coming, especially after the offensive debacle last night (thanks, GD). No reason to panic about the polls, we've got our first ranked team next weekend in Dallas, and it's a rivalry game. If we come out and perform on all fronts Saturday, the national confidence will return. The gauntlet awaits...and the hunt for Orange October begins.

A Good Thing

To be perfectly honest I think this is the best thing that could have happened to our longhorns. I hope they put a poster of this on every inch of the locker room.

Agree as well that this is for the best

The only time I have felt like we looked worthy of the #2 ranking was the UTEP game. I love this team but they have not been living up to the hype. Being undefeated and the #3 team in the country hardly takes the target off our backs, but I think it alleviates some of the pressure.
