Galena Park North Shore receiver DeAndrew White just recently received a scholarship offer from Texas, it but it was too little, too late for the Longhorns, as White officially notified the Mobile Press-Register that he will become a member of the Crimson Tide.

Further thoughts later this week.

Texas just got into this way too late.

We offer him the first or second junior day and we probably get him…simple as that.

"I don't ever miss free throws. I'm like 100-percent from the free throw line. I just don't think about missing and if you think about missing you're going to miss. I just take my time and know I'm going to make it and I do," McClellan said.

Yeah he was here.

I’ll have more from him after he does his weekly conference call, which might not be until tomorrow.

Yeah, but you don't .....

….. have to laserbeam recruit the top guy on your board. You can offer the top two and give absolute assurance of only one scholarship. You don’t have to wait until #1 leans hard to OU before you start your press.

Best of luck to him. It would have been nice to have picked him up, but no a huge concern. Our class is already filled out very nicely. Anyone else is just a very nice bonus.

You now have him committed and assuming he's in...

He still has to maintain eligibility while he’s there..

Agreed

Not impressed with his grades. This is just purely speculation, but I doubt he would have been able to stay eligible at Texas. We want kids to graduate or at least try to before settling in with the NFL.

Get off your knees Greg, you're blowin' the game.
