Defense or Offense

i just wonder if Texas's defense is going to have to win the game against OU like they did in the Colorado game or if the offense is going to show up this week...i just don't understand whats going on with them, its usually a second half blow out by the offense not the defense....what do yall think? Is Colt just too worried about getting that Heisman Trophy...i thinik he needs to not even worry about that myself,if he is meant to get it he will get it....

Here is my prediction

1. The defense should be able to be very disruptive and hold the Sooners at 20 or under.

2. The offense will have to show up. They will have to score 2 TDs on their own – and add one due to a short drive on a turnover.

My prediction Texas 24-20 with Buckner, Cody, and Kirkendoll scoring.

41-13

Five touchdowns, at least three of them on offense, and two FGs. OUsucks scores a touchdown and two FGs.

31-28 Horns

I bet OU receivers don’t drop as many passes as they did against Baylor. Texas D is great, but so is Bradford. I would be pleased to hold him to four TD passes. Buckner and Shipley have big days (wow, that’s a stretch of a prediction, isn’t it).

Why are these predictions so close?

I hope Burnt Orange Horn has it closest to reality while the rest of you are just nervous nellies. We need to beat the living sooner out of them. Send them packing 3-3 with an old fashioned monkey stomp.

I do look for them to use Bradford as their catalyst. They gained 41 yards running on us last year with a much better O-line. I look for them to try and take a lot of shots deep for big plays. We have to be in Sams biscuit all day long and our D-backs need to catch the ball.

Prediction...

I think our defense is playing great. Having said that, I do believe we will have at least one breakdown and give up either a big play (that leads to a touchdown) or a touchdown itself, that we shouldn’t. But Muschamp is making great adjustments during the course of the game, and I believe with a subpar offensive line, Texas will be able to get to the quarterback with just four and play a lot of deep coverage to take away the big play. OU doesn’t have the horses to do the hurry up this year, which benefits our defense. As a defense we need to just keep our eyes on OU throwing out of the backfield, which they’ve done a lot of this year, compared to years past. However, Muck and E. Acho have done a great job of containing the opponents backs out of the backfield. We shall see how this plays out. Final score, Texas 35, OU 17. Hook ’Em Horns and OU Sucks!
