I would imagine Trotsky was a fairly affable fellow. I’ve read a lot of his writings in Russian, and I think a lot of his personality has been lost in translation into English.
It’s October 2009, but even 92 years ago, OUsucks still sucked.

Trotsky, Stalin, Stoops, Switzer
Trotsky was a goof whose only redeeming quallity was that he despised Stalin.
The only good thing about Stoops is that he isn’t Switzer. Stoops is a better whiner than Switzer who whined in an aggravating tone. They both suck, though.
Come to think of it, OU sucks…I’m pretty sure, Trotsky thought so, too.

I feel dumber for having read that...
but boy, does it make this site look good! We kind of get spoiled here with the fine writing, and maybe it takes a jaunt like that to really make you appreciate the rarity of that level of quality.
