If there's one thing that has always been IDIOTIC,
it’s the BCS’s love of unbeatens . . . all the unbeaten teams except TCU (behind USC) are bunched at the top. Cincy, Boise, Iowa ahead of Southern Cal, even though USC has won at Ohio State and at Notre Dame.
It matters not for Texas: Keep winning and we’re in the top two. Fail to win out and, as Mack said last week, you leave it in the hands of the system. With all the losses suffered by other big 12 teams and the ULM-UCF-UTEP-Wyoming slate, a one-loss Texas won’t survive the system.
