Mizzou QB Gabbert Injured?
After staying up last night to watch the OSU - Mizzou game, I believe I had heard that Mizzou QB Blaine Gabbert had gotten a sprained ankle during this game. I s this true or am I imagining this? This is huge for this upcoming week and cant believe no one else is talking about this. Anyone else know if this will affect his play or status for this week? Feel free to discuss/correct me. Hook em!

Minor ankle sprain
Sergio must be salivating.
People are questioning the use of Blaine Gabbert in this game, both whether he should have played at all and, more realistically, whether he should have been playing at the end. I say of course he should have been playing—an ankle sprain is not an injury with long-term danger, and even though he was spraying every pass a bit high, let’s face it: we don’t really have another good quarterback.
Still a Blaine Irby fan

Really?
Sacks are great and all, and I’m sure that anyone tackling the QB is trying to do it with as much force and intensity as possible, but to actually WISH a QB to go out of the game on a play is classless.
+1 That was my point as well TXinDC
GPT has had several good bits on this blog. This one is so far beneath him. I think his login must have been hijacked.
i would think that anyone would be happy about not having to face an ou team with bradford
thats all i am saying
i dont wish for him to be hurt but i sure am glad he didnt get to play the whole game
that is what i am saying. i am glad we had jones instead of bradford throwing the ball
if mizzou decides to play their qb despite the fact that he needs to be held out of the game to rest, than yes, i hope we knock him outta the game and/or year. coaches and players need to learn that they arent superman and should heal and rest up. if gabbert thinks that by sat this week that he isnt good to play but pinkel makes him play anyway then heck yes i hope we knock him out for the year. thats what mizzou gets. OU got what they deserved. Bradford sure didnt, i love the kid, but this is just one of the things he has to live with for coming back. so i have no remorse for him or OU in that respect.

Actually,
I was pretty annoyed when Bradford went out because OU’s line is such a piece of crap right now that they NEED a scrambling QB and Bradford is kind of known for not being a good scrambler. Landry from what I’ve seen is an amazing scrambler and I think he’d honestly do better for OU this season than Bradford could because it’s hard to throw and score points on your back.
TEXAS FIGHT
amazing?
That’s a bit much. An adequate scrambler is as much as I’ll give him. He’s still a pocket passer. He just scrambles more because he can’t make reads as fast as Bradford and their crappy O-line has him taking off after a couple of seconds.
If you're so sure of what it ain't, how about telling us what it am!
I am really feeling sorry for this kid
I was feeling sorry for him against a much milder OSU defense. The thought of A Williams or Sergio or , or , or laying into him play after play after play. you know it is not even fair. they should put in the second guy. “i can’t watch!”
