Sam Bradford plans to enter NFL draft after surgery
Not a surprise at this point, but it's pretty much confirmed now. It sucks for him to have a wasted year like this, so I'm sure the temptation to stay another to make up for it was great, but I think most would agree that he's making the right decision. In retrospect, he's making it a year too late, but hindsight's 20-20. Can't blame him for wanting to play ball for his childhood team and win a national championship. Best of luck to you in the NFL, Sam.

Yeah man they are leading right now.

All's well that ends well :-)
But it was 24-3 with 5 seconds left in the first half

Sam may drop in the draft but will likely go to a better team.
That means less money in his rookie contract but a higher likelihood of success on the field and more money to follow in the long run. We talk about if he had gone pro last year, he’d be the top pick by the Lions. How’s that working out for Stafford?

Sam Pretty Special
I would guess if the shoulder is healthy – he would still go number 1 overall. Looks like Rams/Browns most likely destinations.

he will slip a little
due to his inability to play behind an ineffective line, but he will still most likely be a top 20 pick. I wouldn’t be shocked if the Broncos traded up to get him around 12-15

Orton seems to be doing very respectably
Though Bradford would likely excel in that system

Ditto the Browns
They’ve got two bad QBs making a lot of $$$, doubt they go QB in the draft.

I don't think Bradford would've gone #1 last year
He’s another system QB, and he has the kinds of flaws that draw a little more attention once they’re under the microscope of the combine and workout drills. Stafford has some flaws, of course, but they were the kind that didn’t show up in workouts so much as when his team needed him to win a game for them.
