The BON Hit Award Week 7 Mizzou
Week 7 has come and gone. A virtual 30 minute expose of all things that are possible broke loose this past Saturday as we watched a reincarnate McCoy make a triumphant return to his other worldly abilities. Three possessions with three TD's is not a bad start by any estimation.
There were more big plays than hard hits in this one, but we do have a couple to snack on until Stillwater. I was a little gorged from last weeks ou highlights anyway (not really).
We ended up with a tie last week and I will be posting a runoff with the top two vote getters to determine a clear winner.
Let's go to this weeks video to vote the Mizzou BON Hit Award Week 7

I saw that one...
And it looks like Sergio got a little more of LaHou than he did the RB. Serg is freaky scary the way he closes.
That one play had alot of pad popping on it. Did you see the Earl Thomas take out of the blocker?

This may be blasphemous...
….but I’d count the Kindle hit at the 1:00 mark as more of a Deon Beasley hit.

I see what you mean...
if Gabbert hadn’t dropped like a wet dish rag trying to avoid him. It looks like Beasley got more of a rollover on the legs, while Sergio got a mit under the jawbone.

I haven't been all that big on Malcolm's contributions on offense...
…but he delivered a nice lick at about the 4:20 mark, after making the catch.
I still voted for Curtis Brown’s 5:55 tackle. Absolutely outstanding reaction, and it would’ve been a much louder pop had Gabbert not wisely protected himself with the crumple.

I almost put this one in....
…and it certainly deserves mention. Gettis had a long night. Williams is beastly. We need him on the field as often as possible. Let him drop his one or two passes per game and get on with it. He’s too valuable in every other area. DB’s will not want to take him on when he keeps coming at you with that ferocious speed and contact.

I have been vocally opposed to the praise Williams has received
He had been making a number of bonehead drops, after all, and not many catches. But I guess I could be on board with his getting quite a few more snaps as long as he’s not the first or second option on third and long. That’s when he seems to be the biggest liability.
