If Texas wins Saturday, is it an upset...?

So, I had read somewhere that OSU was looking at possibly wearing all orange on Saturday night and thought I would check their official website to see if any details could be found there.  After finding nothing, I stumbled across the transcript of what players and Coach Gundy have said about the game coming up and figured it might be worth the read.  What I found caught me by surprise and maybe I am just not reading it right or something, but it sounds like RB Keith Toston feels that a loss to Texas would be an upset...Maybe one of you guys could read this and decipher what it means...

This is not intended to be any kind of trash talk towards OSU, as I am very nervous as a fan about the game on Saturday, I am just trying to figure out exactly what Toston meant.  Below is the text of the statement by Toston:

On how the hype before the Georgia game and after the Houston game will help the Cowboys this week
“It makes us have our mind on the right things, knowing that we can get upset at anytime. It’s a big deal. I think that’s what U of H did for us. We came off a great win against Georgia. We were looking at the sky as the limit and then we got swept out from under our feet and that happens. I think that was a good thing to happen to us. Now I feel that we’re a little more alert and I think it’s going to help us.”

Its cool

No disrespect. He was just talking about Houston coming in and upsetting them. If your not on top of your game you can get upset by another team and for them that was Houston.

Blackout, not orangeout

The students are trying to organize a blackout, with everyone wearing black. The school’s saying they want the usual “sea of orange.”

Blackout

They did this last time and it worked for 2 and a half quarters. The whole effort seems futile though since they still chant orange power.

Texas -9

Is the lowest line I saw…. And a reasonable bet, IMHO; Okie Lite doesn’t really have the personnel to keep it close with Texas on paper.

In any case, we’ll see how the game plays out, but anyone saying claiming that OSU should win this game is wearing blinders.

OSU was upset by Houston, that’s where his remark comes from. Not saying that a loss to Texas would be an upset.

I have not heard of any OSU players talking smack about this game because it would be foolish to say something that Brown can use to fire up his players even more. I hope the Cowboys feel like they should win this game. That is the right mindset for a player to have and if the roles were reversed you would want Texas to think the same way. However, in this case I think he was referring to the Houston game and did not mean Texas.

How about this:

But even players such as OSU running back Keith Toston said they can’t believe Shipley is still around.

“He’s definitely been there since I’ve been (at OSU),” Toston said. “I actually hadn’t watched him too much before the last couple of weeks, and I actually thought he had graduated, but he didn’t.”

He is talking about the Texas game

Obviously it is a reference to UT because OSU players weren’t “knowing we could get upset at any time” before the Houston game. It was the Houston loss that now has them now aware of the potential for an upset at any time.

Totson is talking all sorts of smack

Can’t wait to see him get tagged between the numbers tomorrow night.
