Saturday Night Games Open Thread
Here's a list of the games you might be interested in watching tonight. I'll be watching OU/Miami with PiP on A&M/Arkansas and my laptop showing USC/Cal on channelsurfing.net. May flip to Auburn/Tennessee periodically to keep tabs. What are you watching?
All Times Central
| TIME | GAME | TV | LINE |
| 6:30 | Texas A&M at Arkansas (Arlington) | Ark -1.5 | |
| 6:45 | Auburn at Tennessee |
Tenn -2.5 |
|
| 7:00 | USC at Cal* | USC -4.5 |
|
| 7:00 | Oklahoma at Miami* | OU -7 |
And if you're interested, SBNation.com is going to have game-specific and general live blogging going on here. Spencer Hall/Orson Swindle will probably be hanging around there for your general amusement.

Who to root for more...
Arkansas or Miami?
If you're so sure of what it ain't, how about telling us what it am!
Easy: Miami. Better to watch OUsucks lose to a team coming off an embarrassing upset than to watch a2m lose to an ess eee see team.

That being said . . .
. . . it’s not a bad look for the Aggies. Coordinates well with their cheerleaders’ outfits.
Formerly kjm017
perhaps they are trying...
not even close to looking as tempt though
They haven't been on TV
But, he looked good on the sack.
Ah, so it's not just a Big 10 exile thing.
Great way to enhance the program Bill Byrne

Can't want for college football legend Matt Barkley to take the field...
Against the vaunted Cal Bears.
I thought Ryan Mallet was one of the best QBs in country
I mean that is what the Great Gary Danielson said
Thanks for open up this thread, BZ
Wow, what a great day of college football! Michigan/Michigan State OT, tight game with Georgia/LSU and the Huskies/Irish OT….Not bad to stay home in a rainy day from Austin.

Looking like a team with a losing record right now.
If A&M wins
Do all white uniforms become a tradition?
I'm wondering if our defense can contain A&M's offense
but it looks like they can’t contain our WRs either.

Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
Big 12...
Alright, on an off week, it means we have to cheer for our Big 12 cohorts (including A&M and gulp OU…) so that the Big 12 is stronger = our strength of schedule is stronger and also, the more Top 25 teams are Big 12 teams = the more Top 25 teams we beat = we look even awesomer and when it comes down to it, they will KNOW we go to the title game (assuming there are more then 2 undefeated teams at the end of it…). It’s a hard pill to swallow, I know, I hate OU as much as the rest of y’all….Ok, we don’t have to cheer for OU, but definitely A&M.
Texas controls it's own destiny
OU and TAMU can both lose every game as far as I care

Yeah, that little ballerina twirl last year's kicker did when he was touched for OU.
Then drop to the drown like he got dizzy doing a that twirl.
you know what that means
Time for Jacory to throw another pick.
LOL @ Aggie
gets it 1st and GOAL from an Arky muffed kickoff, only for Johnson to fumble it and have it returned 85 yards for the TD.

A&M
Dumb idea to play the Pigs in Dallas. Jerry Jones just set this up so that Arkansas can have a big presence and recruit the Dallas area. We really want an SEC team picking off good recruits. The Land Thieves are already there.
Leave it to Aggies to have this concept go right over their heads.
Any kind of exposure for A&M is what they are after...
Good or bad. Atleast everyone will know they still have a football team now.
They only have 9 more years of this.
A&M may have to pump up there early season schedule sooner than later.
So JJ isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread
What happened John Lopez? I guess one aggie homer should wait until the kid plays some real competition.
But... but... he has a good family!
maybe Lopez should’ve just stuck to that, rather than trying to wildly exaggerate the play of some guy he knows personally. Completely ruined his article.

It does matter that he didn’t disclose that fact so his readers could determine for themselves how objective he is likely to be. That’s what bothered me about it. He goes off about how biased every sports media outlet in Texas is towards UT, and then he writes a hard-sell piece like that about a kid to whom he is practically a surrogate father and doesn’t even bother to mention his close, personal relationship with him.

i've been wondering this a while
I’d assume that Sam will play next week— if so, I say he’s 99% for the RRS
however, if he doesn’t, you’ve gotta wonder how long it’ll take him to get up to game speed.
The truth is though, if he starts, he will not get pulled, regardless of struggles. He is a Heisman winner. Plus, the trademark Stoops Hubris wouldn’t allow it.

Gotta agree
Bradford would’ve been the third QB drafted, maybe middle of the first round. Can’t blame Bradford for coming back when he’s got 2 years of eligibility left.
How does a brand new offensive line impact his draft stock?
It’s pretty safe to say it would make his performance look worse than last year, and as we can see this year, his O-line cost him an injury. Bradford/Gresham should’ve left with their O-line.
