Here's the ABC coverage map for the 8pm game tomorrow night. As noted on the map itself, if you are getting the Oregon/USC matchup on ABC, the Texas/OSU game will be broadcast on ESPN2 in your area. Which totally sucks if you live in Maine and don't have cable.

so basically...
the parts of the country that like college football get the Texas game. The parts that are mostly indifferent and uninformed, the USC game… kinda makes sense, I suppose.

if you would read more closely
you would understand that the parts of the country that like college football get BOTH games.
The parts that are mostly passionate and informed about college football will understand the potential BCS impact of both games. And watch both.
Kinda makes sense, I suppose.

I’m sure people in Pennsylvania are just dying to see that USC-Oregon game.

Probably the Big Ten-Pac 10 deal
I used to live in Maine. And I wouldn’t live there again IF I DIDN’T HAVE CABLE. Winter sunrise in Maine is like 9:45 a.m., sunset around 2:25 p.m. It’s also been known to snow (in October, in April) and stay below freezing 59 out of 61 days.

Maine...
After RRS, I was looking forward to sitting back and watching the Tech/NB game on ABC. They had it for 30 minutes before switching to horseracing. Definitely not college football fans here, unfortunately.
Until I am physically watching the horns on ESPN2 Saturday night in the cold heart of Maine, I will worry that it may not be shown.
Hook'em!!

There are other means to watch the horns
I live in california and I don’t have cable (including TV). I watched all the longhorns games live on my computer (on justin.tv or atdhe.net). The only problem was last week when the stream of everyone not in Texas was switched to the USC Oregon State game because the missouri game got so out of hand.

I bet UT has more alumni in the Northeast than Oregon and USC combined...
But I guess the casual viewer is believed to only know about USC since the media love to hype them.

Hope Jordan Hicks Has Cable
I want him to see the Horns roll in a nice environment on Saturday.

It could be worse...
…you could be an aggie fan.
Really? Does my signature suck?

Ugh, that is one problem with living out in California…we’re forced to watch USC every friggin weekend. Luckily I get ESPN2, so, problem solved!
Sometimes the impossible can become possible if you're AWESOME!

Have you JAFO's never heard of espn360?
I live in sugar land, tx, and I’d rather watch the usc-oregon game. Nothing against UT; in fact, I thnk the horns will win handily. SC, on the other hand, has a tougher task with a very green team going into autzen-should make for a closer, more compelling game.
