How can he be the most overrated
if he is only a freshman…that does not make any sense. Let’s see where he is after his Junior season…then we will have an idea.

Come on...you are just hating on him.
Storied career at Mater Dei…at the helm at USC as their first true freshman QB. That is a story. Plus the media loves all things USC and SEC. Have I mentioned that the BCS is horrific?

I judge on what he has done in a college game by Barkley
Everything this guy has done on a college field has been completely blown out of portion by the media. That Ohio State game winning drive being all because of Matt Barkley. Yeah right, anybody could of handed the ball off to McKnight and completed screen passes. Then the media saying they lose to Washington because of Barkley not playing. I am not hating on him, I am hating on the media.
Let they guy win a championship or play a few years of college ball first before we start calling him god. Also, its not like he is taking a team with no talent and winning with them. Nothing he has done in my opinion has put him in the upper echelon of college quaterbacks yet.
we agree...it is just a story...but he is the California golden boy playing for USC. A media lovefest...we agree on the media btw.

Are these two teams just going to sack each other for another 45 minutes?
I’m going out for breakfast…
TD Hoosiers
14-0 under 5 min to halftime. Two Hawkeyes on receiver and neither even close in the end zone.
i suspect Iowa will come back
if they do, this still makes me feel good about the prospect of them losing to OSU

Florida almost lost to
Arkansas at home. If not that official crews’ conspiracy, Florida would have already a one loss team. I like Georgia to pull the upset and make a statement game to SEC.
If Iowa comes back in this game
they still suck.
Iowa has run out of its nine lives..
I think this is the game that finally does them in. Indiana is playing perfectly by getting TDs and not FGs in the red zone. One more TD score in the 2nd half by Indiana and its over. I don’t see a big10 team scoring more than 21 points in a half.
I just got home...
Wow. Hoosers over Iowa? Maybe not the great defense that they talked about on College Game Day…
Indiana's Special Teams
recovered the ball and the offense just scored another TD before they head to locker room! Once again, Special Teams at work!!! Last week, there were a lot of games have involved with Special Teams that determined the outcomes of each game. I can’t stress enough how important the Special Teams. And there’s a reason why they called “Special”.

at least twice
4th down ball spot, which was challenged unsuccessfully, and a TD catch, reviewed but not overturned. Hoosiers not hurt by either call as they both fixed themselves naturally on the next play.
The refs are huddling at halftime saying they need to try harder..
All efforts to slow down Indiana on those two play calls have unexpectedly failed. Expect the Officials to come out stronger in the 2nd half.
agree that the first down call should have been overturned...but not the incomplete on the TD. He was pulling it in out of bounds

I say keep the pressure on Iowa...
Keep throwing, keep doing what you did in the first half to get the lead. No need to get all conservative until the you have a lead late in the 4th quarter.
It looks like
They’re listening to you…Cuz, they just did that on their previous drive. They were all passing and 1 wild cat play.
It is a beautiful thing
Georgia downing UF would be the icing on cake

It happened to finally land on heads for a call in Indiana’s favor.
Stanzi
The commentator talking about Stanzi being rattled… That just shows McCoy’s poise. If any QB could be rattled at this point in the season, it would be McCoy. But look at the way he has handled everything- slow starts, being sick (never complained nor did it end up in the media until after the game), not producing the way the offense did last – and he continues to go out there and give it his all.
That separates the mediocre from the best.

Am I the only one who loves
Indiana’s offense? I love the Pistol and the versatility it give you. I am a big fan of downhill running and one reason I don’t like the spread is it is nearly impossible to do so out of it. The Pistol presents the best of both worlds of being able to run downhill out of it and also give the quarterback the gift of being away from the line of scrimmage and seeing the field. I wish GD would take same notes.

I can appreciate the fact that Tebow is very good in that offense but his mechanics are downright terrible. It takes forever for him to get rid of the ball.
