The Weekly BON Hit Award Week 1

I am so impressed with the depth and aptitude of data found here on the BON and thought it apropos to submit a motion to the powers that be for a Weekly BON Hit Award. There's no "G" in BON "G", so don't get distracted. :)

We have seen some colossal hits each week and like the Hard Hat award given by the team, how about coming up with our own Burnt Orange Nation version where each week you get to contribute a vote to the biggest hit, and at the end of the year, vote for the biggest hit of the year? I realize how subjective we can get, but that's why each one of us would get to either vote on the posted polls, or submit your own entry with video support. Off field printed versions would be excluded and the hit must occur on the football playing field (Gregory Gym doesn't count...jk KV) during a game.

We have some catching up to do. Here's Week 1 with ULM. I will post Tech and UTEP tomorrow and Friday respectively to catch up making us current for the CU game.

Which play of the ones submitted with video support was the game changer, momentum swing, or key moment?

I know we dog on our schedule a lot...

but it’s not like the Wyoming game didn’t exist!

I love this idea though, and can’t wait to rewatch some of the hits from the first part of our season.

i voted for Wells hit...

..but I’m kinda confused on what the poll was deciding on. IMO the Wells HIT was the best but it’s kinda hard to be a game changer when the game was over before the 4th quarter started. So are we voting for best hit or game changer?

I know, I got a little ADD there.

It’s really intended for the hardist hit. I was thinking of another one for key play, but wasn’t sure of the appetite for too many polls?

Maybe we can comment for key play?

I was watching a usc game in 05 and he was talking about he was a sports journalism major in college,he even did some play by play with the football game.I always thought that would be hilarious to have him call a game.why not
