It seem's like your surprised by this

Since we haven’t lost money buying out contracts and have consistently fielded a nationally ranked(usually top 10) team throughout the Mack Brown era, i think it makes perfect sense. I’m sure once the aggies find a coach that can get them to back to back bowl games they will pay him sufficiently.

Their program still has a huge budget. Also, noted by Texas Wahoo below, our coordinators do make less according to that site, but I’ve heard higher figures quoted for our coordinators… 750k and 900k respectively for Davis and Muschamp. So the figures on that site are a little weird.

Muschamp and Davis are both making 375k. So they must be lacking in certain incentives or bonuses or something.

Regarding salaries:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m guessing that the salaries listed on that website are the part of the salary paid by campus. The rest comes from the athletic budget. Its still pretty funny that campus pays Sherman $1 less than ex head coach Franchione.
