I sure hope OU doesn't lose another game...

Do you know what year was the last time OU lost 4 games in a football season?  Wait for it...wait for it...wait...for...it...that's right...2005!  What happened that year is about as obvious as the backstory on the connection between Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley.  Anyway, we just had the ESPNU college press conferences on at my work (FOX Sports at Bush airport if you ever fly thru) and Bob Stoops was on.  They flashed up the last 5 years of OU football records & a moment of clarity struck me!  Forget 2012...all the signs point towards 2009! :)

2009 is the year

In 2012 and 2013 the Longhorns might have a great defense, great quarterback, great targets, etc., but the fact is that the Longhorns have all those things THIS year. So far, Okafor, Gilbert, Barnett, Davis, Bible, etc. are all just potential. So…well, yes, 2009 is the year.

2012

He’s referring to the supposed end of the world (all signs pointing to…).

Missed the reference, I guess

But those tricky Mayans have me guessing. I’m probably going to regret refinancing to a 15yr. mortgage, which I did about 30min. ago.

Sorry, didn't get it

Aside from being an awesome qb-wr tandem, in what other ways are McCoy and Shipley connected? They roommates or something?

I think they both go fishing or something

It’s like eHarmony got into the football business.

I don't know

Part of me wants them to lose more games anyway.

From the headline I thought this was going to be another 'poor strength of schedule' post....

I’m glad its not. Luckily SOS doesn’t matter for the Horns this year. I would enjoy it if Oklahoma lost their next 50 games.

I'm pretty confident we are going to hand them their collective asses in Lubbock in a few weeks.....

next week actually

and yeah, I think you may just do that. Too bad Sticks isn’t playing.

Also, I hope OU loses every game, always. SOS isn’t worth it when it comes to Sooners.

Sticks is taking 50% of the snaps in practice. Likely he will play against Xerox U this weekend.

Was just told Sheffield

was on crutches Friday, in a boot on Sunday, taking snaps on Tuesday. Hope he doesn’t re-injure… again.

Keep losing OU

I want these in state studs that turned their back on UT to go fight against their home state school to sit and watch what could have been.. You listening Jamarkus McFarland? ;

Adrian Peterson verbally committed, then shafted, Texas. Why? He said that he wanted to go someplace he could win championships.. Vince wants to know how that worked out for you, AP. You turn your back on your home, you deserve getting your ass kicked. .
