DJ Monroe is an Idiot, Allegedly
You know, football players, there are buses, cabs, sober friends, and your own feet for these sorts of things.

I'll make my standard call to reserve judgment until the facts are in.
Believe me, everyone who is charged with a crime is not guilty of a crime. Especially when you’re a young african-american man driving at 3am in Buda, Texas.
"Stats are for losers, I like winning games"

Then why not title the post "DJ is innocent until proven guilty?"

As HB said, the word "allegedly" is a key qualifier
And most people know what it means, so it’s appropriate.

That's about it for Monroe for the regular season
Three games puts him out through the Big 12 championship game, if that is indeed the penalty. I’m interested to see whether Mack will have him dress for the bowl game. Let the kid serve his suspension and prepare to be the primary KR in January.

+1 to Darklust . . . omebody with better memory or sources . . .
Didn’t Lamarr Houston get just a 1-game penalty last year?
I’m thinking he was 21 (so not under age) and extremely apologetic. Depending on circumstances, DJ might get two games from Mack. I kinda think Ship, Goodwin, Malcolm can handle KO returns proficiently. Distraction factor not good, but at least early in the week.
precedence is Sergio Kindle's 3 game DUI
Houston was over 21, so his was only one game. Expect DJ to get suspended 3 games. GD won’t even notice.
GD actually put him on a preemptive suspension several weeks ago.
