Not sure if I agree with the throwbacks.

I know its just a temporary thing, but i love our traditional uniforms. It doesn’t seem right for us to wear throwbacks, shouldn’t we be leaving that to the Oregon’s of the world?

You do realize that:

a) What makes Texas special is its tradition, and its valuing that extensive tradition?

b) We wore throwbacks in 2005 against ULL. That year seemed to work out okay, didn’t it? :)

I would be happy with wearing numbers on our helmets for one game

But other than that, i think our uniforms for the A&M game should be the same. For the record, I don’t like the numbers on the helmets, so I personally would only like it for the one game for the sake of valuing tradition.
