Gators haters' Facebook page
While doing my business on facebook, I just stumbled upon to find this page called I bet you i can find 100,000 people that hate the gators in one month! which has close to a quarter million fans. I'm very surprise that many peoples are hating this team. A quarter million haters? Are they for real?
Regardless, I can't wait to see they will get beat by the Horns in Pasadena.
Always Hook'em!

I can see the hatred
Weekly media circle jerks by ESPN and CBS. Tebow made into some demi-god. Thank God this is his last year. I can’t even watch CBS games unless it’s on mute. Well, I could but then I’d have to replace my remote after hearing another line like “Tim Tebow wills his team to victory yet again!” Excuse me while I throw up.
This
I do think it’s mostly about the never-ending media adoration, but it’s also because Florida fans have developed the same sense of entitlement that USC fans had in the first half of the decade. Just their “We’re amazing. You might be okay, but you’re not on our level” attitude.
I know a guy who went to Okie State who took a road trip to Gainesville recently to see Tim Tebow live and in person for the Vanderbilt game (for whatever reason, he’s a huge Tebow fan). He reported that Tebow had a personal escort of about 8 policemen as he entered the stadium and that fans were screaming for him like he was Paul McCartney. Said he had never seen anything like it in his life. And he further reported that the tailgating was dreadful. He said everyone kind of did their own thing and no one was very welcoming to visitors. He said he expected that when he told people he’d driven all the way from Stillwater just to see Tim Tebow that they’d welcome him with open arms. Instead, their attitude was “What are you doing here? This is the best football team you’re going to see all year.”
It just reminds me so much of the attitude of USC fans in ‘05. Like it was impossible that someone could be better than their precious Trojans. I personally would love to get a crack at Florida in Pasadena. If they’re truly the best team in the nation, I’ll be willing to concede it. If not, I want us to be the team that proves it. It’s a role we played pretty well last time.
"The Speech"
I’ve seen two people in the DC metro with t-shirts that have the text of Tebow’s infamous speech on the back.
Great, now he's going to be our "gipper"
and we’ll have to live with it for the next 80 years. Wonderful.
All of the SEC fans I know up here route for any SEC school every time they play out of conference
Even the die hard Auburn fans will route for ‘bama if they make the championship (although they’re route for UF to beat them first).

hahaha
ok, so, I know that you meant root, but I guess in my mind, I don’t say route “root” I say “rout”… it just took me a minute.

250K? Is that all?
You could sign up that many Georgia fans alone, if enough knew about the site. Or Auburn. And don’t even get me started on Tennessee.
Georgia hates Auburn. Ole Miss hates LSU. Kentucky hates Tennessee. And everybody hates Alabama.
Then when the bowl games start, they’re all like brothers. This is news to anyone?
I’d wager you’d get an awful lot of haters of Texas as well, but then again, nothing breeds contempt like prolonged success. Thomas Jones said it so much better than I ever could (note the signature quote).
Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate.

Ugh nothing I can't stand more than "Conference Loyalty"
Seriously, how sad is your life that you aren’t just hopelessly devoted to your team, but you’re also a fanboy of “your conference”. Sad. I could give less than two sheets about any other team in the Big 12 that isn’t wearing Burnt Orange.
In-VINCE-able.
I will root for ANYONE
that is playing against Oklahoma. The only case that I might EVER pull for Oklahoma would be if Texas absolutely needed the strength of schedule points.
I considered the conference loyalty thing for about 2 seconds for last year’s MNC, and realized at kickoff that I couldn’t physically force myself to root for the godless, motherless team from the wrong side of the Red River.
However, I do find myself pulling for the underlings from the conference in OOC games.
