Damn two early games in a row....looks like the drinking will start early on Saturdays!

Remember

that it’s a marathon, not a race.

True but races are so much more fun than marthons!

Touche. Fine we should've used sprint/dash rather than race.

And I still stand by sprints/dashes being more fun than marathons.

I've always specialized in the 800m

Short and intense enough that one has to stay up on toe the whole race, but long enough that one can burn out with an ill-timed burst.

Marathons are races too.

And there’s plenty of sprinting in marathons. Especially if you’re elite like me. At drinking, that is.

So......

I guess the Kansas game is our last chance to have a 2:30 kickoff……………have we had one of those this year? seriously (UTEP?)

and my guess is that the kansas game will be 2:30 or a night game. K St-Nebraska, and Tech-OU highlight the games in the big 12 that weekend.

UTEP..

..I will never forget the hotness that the game had, but I believe that that game is the only one.

neither will i

that’s probably the only time in my life i was (and will ever be) thrilled to see the half the student section leave at the half. people were dropping left and right.

Gah, I hope Kansas isn't going to be a 2:30 game

It’ll be the only game I attend this season – I want something at night!

I like to watch the game, then head out afterwards

Are you still in DC? I’ve always thought it was pretty fun to watch the Terps game, then amble down to Ratsie’s or something on Hwy. 1 for some beer and pizza.

Yup - still in DC, but headed to Tejas for Thanksgiving

I’ve never done the bar scene in College Park, but I’ve read plenty to encourage me to never go. I live in Adams Morgan so it’s not like I’m lacking for places to go at night.

But either way, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the Kansas game… either day drinking or night drinking.

MD's not a great football school

But going to a big-school football game is still pretty fun, even here in ACC land. The College Park bar scene isn’t terrific, but really, who says you have to go to a college bar? I go to the famous pizza place (Ratsie’s) or a sports bar.

Adam’s Morgan isn’t bad. I had thought about moving there or Woodley Park, but although we could afford to buy the house, we probably couldn’t afford both the house and the much higher cost of childcare in the area. We’re in Howard County.

I'm so glad

Night games have been killing me. Damn the Least Coast.

so

over/ under 11:20 am when Baylor is utterly dismantled… Not counting when the Big XII was formed, and they were included.
