Battle for the Basement: Baylor at A&M

On Saturday night, Texas will try to win the South with a victory over Kansas. But before the Longhorns even kickoff, the Baylor Bears and Texas A&M Aggies will be battling for the right to be the worst in the conference. A month ago, Scipio Tex and I bet a bottle of whisky on who would emerge as the worse of the two, and for all intents and purposes, it comes down to this game.

My bottle of whisky is on the Bears. Who ya got?

I have to go with the Aggies. They should pull this one out?

The Aggies have been sooo inconsistent this year.

The Bears have been pretty consistent. Consistently bad.

I think the Aggies pull this one out, but this one’s gonna be boring.

Is this on TV?

If not, then recent history says Aggies win.

the A&M team that destroyed Tech

Can destroy Baylor. But, they are so inconsistent it’s a true toss-up. Even so, Christine Michael and Cyrus Gray are a phenomenal 1-2 punch. A&M rolls in this one.

Note: With Griffin, Baylor runs away with it.

The Real Answer:

WHO CARES??? But I really think Baylor wins in a nailbitter. 3 – 0

I'm hoping for a considerably less likely score

But not entirely impossible considering these two teams.

I want to see 6 – 1 Baylor.

Come on

you gotta care. Think about how much you love watching the Aggies flounder.

It couldn’t hurt in-state recruiting either.

Ags win

Baylor hasn’t won at Kyle Field since 1984. Sorry guys, A&M isn’t the basement of the Big 12 this year.
Thanksgiving will almost certainly go UT’s way, but come on, you know you’re a little nervous. ;)
