plus, I think it would help the offense a lot if they can run when the flex tight end is in the game. Guess we’ll see how far along DJ Grant is by fall camp — but no one knows how well he can block either. I just wasn’t buying Buckner at the x on Saturday because he’s got a long way to go as a flex tight end.

Yeah, he definitely is missing a second gear to get any separation.
I think we gotta redshirt him, put 30-40 pounds on him and teach him how to block. Then turn him into a true TE with good hands. That’s where is football future is if he has any. We will be loaded at WR anyway so he helps the numbers.

With all their injuries and their losing record, I would think OU will lose every quality upperclassman to the NFL draft. With that and normal graduations and the typical “running away from Norman” what will OU look like next year? If Bob can leave this year, he should.

Gerhart will run for about 200 yards on ND next week...
ND has the one of the easiest schedules in the country and will finish with a losing record. Lou Holtz has to feel really stupid for picking them to be in the championship game this year. Holtz should be fired also for making that pick.

The refs took forever to spot the ball and start the clock...
I am thinking they had the time to line it up..
for the FG..
But then again, if the FG team didn’t even have their helmets on or were ready, then its a moot point.
How the hell do you not know you have ONE second left on the clock?
And how do you not have your FG team ready? Dumbasses. LOLSU.
Iam just glad LSU lost....
I couldn’t stand seeing them in the top #10 after playing like this every week.
That was the strangest ending I've ever seen
… and the refs were trying so hard to throw the game for LSU.
