Ohio State and Oklahoma Uni's

Have you seen the abomination that are these uniforms? They both look absolutely awful! I am incredibly surprised that two traditional football programs like these (well, not so much Oklahoma, Stoops would sell his soul for a win but Tressel does surprise me) would even think about going with a Nike marketing ploy like this that would completely change their uniforms. I know Texas has some alternate uniforms that we will be wearing as well but they are not nearly as terrible as these and they are more throwback uniforms than anything. On the same note, if you are going to drastically change your jerseys like Ohio State and Oklahoma have why wouldn't you do something honorable like South Carolina did last week. What they did with the Wounded Warrior project was one of the coolest things I have seen.

I’m of the exact opposite opinion. I actually really liked the understated classic look of OU’s unis, and thought Ohio State’s looked like an over-eager first-year graphic design student came up with them.

I thought both teams looked remarkably improved

In fact, I hate both teams, and I thought each one look decidedly less obnoxious and douchey in those traditional digs. I almost didn’t hate OU today. Almost.

Both OU and OSU's uni's

…were versions of throwbacks to honor past teams, just like Texas. There are lots of reasons for me to hate those two schools, but their uniforms this weekend won’t be one of them.

Anyone see Florida State’s? I really liked those- the black helmets were sweet.

I suppose tu is going to wear throw backs for the big game in college station. I was wondering what would be more hideous tu’s uniforms or their performance against a real defense this year?

Tulsa really hasnt played a real defense outside of OU all year. They really havent been tested since September.

Well if that’s what you want to believe then yes. If you choose to selectively ignore that we restricted Baylor to only 3 points, Tech to only 30 points and almost beat Colorado then sure!! Also, not that 35 points to OSU was before KState game, the Aggies have turned a corner since then. I am not sure if we should figure 65 points agains OU because that game was in Norman and you know OU would beat anybody in Norman even if Stoops or Venables played QB, with the help of their refs. So, in Norman game we got jobbed that should not figure in a objective discussion of Aggie performance

Look, it’s good that you are positive about your team, but my God, man, just grow up. Your team’s defense is a joke. The idea that you got “jobbed” in a game you lost by 40 points suggests you might just be a cruel parody of an Aggie fanboy. Unfortunately, I doubt this is the case. There are no statistics you can cite, no rational case you can make that A&M is the better team. So go home, hope and pray for an upset, root like hell, but stop posting that crap on a board for reasonable football discussion.
